What is Patreon?

I have signed up with two new sites where you can support your favorite artist, small business, or creator! I’d love if you could check it out!

What is Patreon? I happened upon it when I was researching better methods and paints for window mural art. This cool, nice, talented, and very helpful artist, Scot Campbell had a youtube video that then linked me to his account! I signed up to be a monthly Patron for just $10! When you become a patron you can sign up for different tiers, each tier you get specific rewards for supporting them! For my account I created five tiers at different levels of priced memberships and rewards. Us creators set a goal of how many members or the amount of money we want to make and when we reach that goal we do something special! You can pay anywhere from $3 per month up to $200 a month! Each time someone signs up, you are helping support that creator! I mentioned in mine that you help me create a larger following and money towards my own art studio. Right now my husband and I are building it from a recycled shipping container. We got the doors up (which was the hardest and longest process so far) and some interior wood framing for walls.

My next site I signed up with is called “Buy me a coffee”. You can donate a small amount like $3 to buy your favorite artist a coffee! There is also memberships to sign up with too! I have mine set to when you sign up you get discounts on commissions! Right now you can get up to 20% off on a pet portrait!
